When looking around Twitter this week, I discovered a great service offered by Lappland Times, which is a blog dedicated to giving you the experience of what Lapland if like, from the inside. The great thing I found? Lappland Times offer a service on their Twitter page, so that you can always keep up with the temperature in Lapland. Below is the post from Annie about her service:
We make every effort to keep it updated on a regular basis (ideally daily). Note that what’s special about these entries is that these are real-time informations from people who actually live in Lapland and check their thermometer at their house, car, service station or some place else. These temperatures often differ a lot from temperatures indicated in the weather forecast. God knows why… maybe satellites aren’t that clever after all?
