There are many low cost airlines around nowadays and this has made the choice of what kind of flight to go on even harder. In today’s article, I would like to discuses some of the advantages of taking a cheap flight, instead of splashing out on a higher prices one.
If you are flexible with your flying times and which airport you are willing to fly to, then low cost airlines are a perfect choice. There are disadvantages, but we will be talking about them at a later point. For now, the advantages;

The obvious and main factor, by going on a cheap flight, you can save a lot of money. This is a big advantage because with prices of everything else rising around the world, saving some money can always help. By saving the money on this part of your Santa holiday, you can spend more on other aspects, such as the hotel or activities you do when you are there.
Flights Are Only Short
As well as this, as the flight is only short, what’s the point in paying a lot of money? People normally pay more so that they can be more comfortable when travelling. However, if you are only on the plane for 1 to 2 hours, is there any really need for that much comfort? The planes have to stick to certain regulations, so the space you will get will be enough for this amount of time, meaning there is no point in spending any more to get more comfort.
Get to the Airport
A problem which comes up when travelling with cheap airlines is that they take you to airports which aren’t really that close to where you want to go. However, due to Lapland and Scandinavia only really having smaller airports, you are less likely to suffer from this problem and will most likely be taken to where you need to be.
It’s Just Easier
Booking and then going with a cheap airline is said to be a lot easier, they receive your booking and you’re on it, you get to the plane and you get on. There isn’t all of the hassle which goes with being with a bit airline. The advantages of this? It keeps your stress levels down which will in turn make your holiday a lot more pleasant experience.
In the end, you need to be careful when deciding to go with a low cost airline. However, for a Santa flight, a low cost flight is probably the best way to go, as the flights are only short and you could save quite a bit of money, which can then be used to have more fun whilst your there!
